Savona Restaurant

1 post in this topic

Built in 1765 in the heart of Philadelphia’s “Main Line,†Savona Restaurant was once headquarters for Revolutionary War figure Aaron Burr.

The restaurant is now a Northeastern Corridor destination for fine dining and casual sophistication. High quality dining and seamlessly orchestrated service is backed by the largest wine cellar in the state of Pennsylvania, offering guests over 1,200 selections.

Executive Chef, Andrew Masciangelo uses a simple approach to cooking inspired by his Abruzze heritage. “I like to touch the food as little as possible. I leave each dish unadorned, enabled to express the natural flavor.†Some of the dishes Savona offers are crispy crostini, hand cut pasta, and perfectly blistered pizza Margherita.

Masciangelo loves how easy uploading and changing the menu is using Lavu iPad POS. Each Italian dish was easily programmed into their system, improving the order taking process. "The kitchen staff is ecstatic that they do not have to read hand written tickets anymore."
