Credit Card Batching if Internet is down

Question

I am currently a Micros user and looking for another option.  In spite of the fact that I am in an urban area, we have poor electical infrastructure and the power goes out regularly and generally with it, the internet.  If using the cloud without LLS, in times of internet outage will the iPad store credit card transactions in a batch for processing until the next time internet connectivity is available?  I've read the other posts and this question was danced around but not direclty answered.

thanks,

chase

Hello Chase,

Thank you for posting on our forums and for researching Lavu POS. If the internet goes down clients will not be able to directly process credit cards. We ask all clients to use a third party terminal for credit card processing. This would be a fail safe for internet down times. You would process the credit card through your third party terminal, then save the transaction information on your Lavu POS software.

Thank you,

David Miles
