A message from our CEO regarding the downtime on 1/17

First, let me state to anyone affected by a recent complication involving our POS service, that we at Lavu are genuinely sorry.

We understand the frustration and inconvenience caused by interruption in service. Lavu takes this very seriously and is committed to providing you with the best POS system possible.


On 1/17/14 at approximately 7:15 PM MST we experienced a problem that lasted for a short period of time and impacted a small number of our customers. This issue started with a third party integration, which unfortunately caused a ripple effect resulting in a larger issue on our servers.

The majority of customers who experienced an interruption in service successfully switched to offline mode, offsetting some problems. Local Server clients were minimally affected.


We understand how critical the POS system is to your business and how important it is that the system is always up and running. We have identified the problem and our team will continue working tirelessly to ensure that this will not happen again.
